This Clifton China Crested Ware Vase is in very good condition for its age, with no chips, cracks, or repairs that I am aware of.

• Gold Gilding: Slight rubbing on the top rim
• Coat of Arms: City of Cardiff
• Top Banner: "Deffro mae'n ddydd" (*Awake, it is day*)
• Bottom Banner: "Y ddraig goch ddry cychwyn" (*The Red Dragon will lead the way*)

Maker's Mark

The base of the vase features:

• Clifton China in a banner above a Crown
• W.H & S (Wildblood, Heath & Sons) written under the Crown
• A tiny **L** underneath
• Marked 16 and H in black
